The FORST brewery was founded in 1857 A few years later J.Fuchs, the founding father of the beer dynasty, took over the business in the area where the plant can still be found today. Even in those early days he was able to see that it was a perfect location with its marvellous spring water, large amounts of space on the valley floor, clean air and unspoilt nature.
