Lorenzo Dabove

Lorenzo Dabove, known professionally as Kuaska Born on 13/09/1952, of Ligurian origin, he lives and works in Milan and Genoa. Beer taster, lecturer, judge and writer, one of the fathers of the Italian craft movement, unanimously considered the greatest expert on craft and Belgian beer at an international level. He has participated in numerous radio and television programs in Italy and abroad. He has conducted events, conferences and tastings, not only in Italy, but also in Belgium, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, France, Switzerland, Croatia, Bulgaria, Canada, United States, Brazil, Chile, etc. He has published for Ed. Gribaudo, the books "Le Birre" and "Il Manuale della Birra", for Dorling Kindersley (UK) chapters of the books "Eyewitness Beer Companion" and "The Beer Book" and for Oxford University Press (USA), "The Oxford Beer Companion". He has also written numerous articles, prefaces, interviews and texts for Italian and foreign publications such as "What's Brewing", "De Zytholoog", Financial Times etc. and held columns in Italian newspapers such as "Il Riformista" and "La Repubblica". Since April 2021, he has assumed the position of President of the Technical Scientific Committee of the Accademia delle Professioni in Padua.
