Who will be the new King of gourmet burgers?

THE CONTEST

 

Burger Battle was born in 2018 almost as a joke: a simple idea, a group of partners and six chefs ready to compete. The goal is to crown the King of the gourmet burger, interpreting the fast food gourmet trend—quick to eat, yet built on high-quality ingredients and the chefs’ creativity. A competition with a clear mission: to identify the face of the Burger Battle Ambassador.

 

As tradition dictates, the grand final takes place at Beer&Food Attraction and is the result of a selection tour with three Italian stops: Rome, Venice and Naples.

An exciting competition

THE GRAND FINAL

First phase
In the first phase, contestants will compete in two rounds, three at a time. Each chef will present to the jury the burger that won their qualifying stage. At the end of the rounds, the jury will select two finalists who will advance to the final showdown.

 

Final
The finalists must create a burger invented on the spot, using mandatory ingredients provided: bun, beef burger, salmon burger, sauce and fries (all chosen from the available options).
Each contestant must also bring one of their own products, to be paired with at least three ingredients from the mystery box, revealed just minutes before the competition.

The recipe must be identical and workable with both beef and salmon burgers. The jury will taste both versions. Each contestant must prepare 3 beef burgers and 3 salmon burgers.
