Named after Salacia, the ancient Italic
goddess of the seabed, this white wine is
crafted from a blend of Fiano and Falanghina
grapes. After a brief cryomaceration on the
skins, part of the free-run must ferments at
lowtemperatures in stainless steel tanks, while
the other part ferments in oak barrels.
The resulting wine is first refined in stainless
steel tanks and then in the bottle. It has a
straw-yellow color with golden highlights, and
its fruity aromas evoke notes of nectarine,
